Twinview is awarded Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification in recognition of high cyber security standards

CE+ is a government-backed accreditation and a prerequisite for any company dealing with Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) or defence projects in the UK.

In addition, it provides complete peace of mind knowing that a person’s or company’s data and systems are secure when partnering with a service provider.  

Earlier this year, Twinview was awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification.

Cyber Essentials is a cyber security standard introduced by the UK government that aims to provide organisations with pragmatic protection against the most common cyber security threats. CE+ is a step ahead of the standard Cyber Essentials (CE) assessment, which requires organisations to undertake a series of onsite technical assessments that include internal vulnerability tests against servers and sample workstations. 

Twinview was awarded the CE+ following a stringent process conducted at its head office based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, in the North East of England. The evaluation looked at: 

• Boundary firewalls and internet gateways - that you have a secure internet connection.
• Secure configuration - that you have the most secure settings turned on on all your company devices.
• User access control - that you have full control over who is accessing your data and services.
• Malware protection - that you have protection in place against viruses and malware.
• Patch management - that your devices and software are updated with the latest versions.

The certification is renewable every 12 months and Twinview received its CE+ certificate in July 2021.
